WINTERHAVEN, Calif., Friday, June 25, 2010 – A female Yuma, Ariz. resident won $942,000 on a Wizard of Oz progressive slot machine at the Quechan Casino Resort today, the largest jackpot in the casino’s history.
The lucky winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, recently relocated to the area from Nevada. She considers herself a “Q regular”, and visits the casino at least once or twice per week.
The lucky winner plans to continue working. Her initial priorities with her recent financial windfall are to pay off her home and student loans, and purchase a new car.
